Since joining Boston Aikikai, everything I’ve learned has blown my mind, not only about physical improvements but also learning how to “leave” things that bother you behind while practicing.

I love the sense of community, discipline, self-responsibility, vigor of practice, and Budo that there is at Boston Aikikai.
We are very lucky to have Vu Ha Sensei as our principal instructor, not only because of his aikido technique, but also his giftedness as a teacher.
Over time, I think what has become most meaningful to me is the home I have found with Vu Sensei and members of the Boston Aikikai family.
As an older adult, Aikido has made me newly curious about where I might go with my mind, body, and spirit in the practice of this beautiful art.
